Warth Childcare was opened in 1953 by my Grandmother, Dorine Warth. It has been family owned and operated since then. We are on our third generation of "Warth Women" operating our facitily. We have been known in Sumter for a very long time and were one of the very first childcare centers in Sumter. We have served many families and would love for your children to join our family of learning.

FULL-TIME PROGRAM
Depending on your family’s schedule, our Full-Time Program might be the right fit for you. No matter what your child needs, each of our programs will provide the support and tools necessary for optimal growth.
4K FIRST STEPS
We are proud to offer the state adopted program 4K First Steps. This is a free program to children that qualify and is mandated by the state to offer the same quality education as the programs in the public school. The state is also offering free child care for siblings of qualified 4 year old students! Just fill out this online application and we will contact you!
INFANT AND TODDLER CARE
Our trained staff are amazing with our infants and toddlers. We have many, many years experience and have helped many first time parents through that first year of questions and concerns.
MISSION STATEMENT
At Warth Child Care, our mission consists of providing a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe. Our unique Childcare Center offers various activities that are specifically designed to encourage each child’s growth. Through cooperative play and creative activities, kids reach their social, emotional and physical milestones naturally and with ease.
ZANNE MORRIS
Owner
Zanne has a Master's Degree in Education and is National Board Certified. With 23 years of experience in the public school system she knows just what children need to succeed.
STEPHANIE JOHNSON
Director
As our Director, Stephanie is committed to helping children explore and learn in a hands-on environment. Nothing brings them more happiness than seeing the growth and evolution of our students.

After School Director
With a Master's Degree in Education and many years experience, Lakechia is committed to making sure our after school program is the best in the business.
RUTHIE OSTEEN
CACFP Coordinator
Ruthie is very talented at taking care of all of our government paperwork. She works hard to ensure that we have everything we need to stay in compliance with the requirements of all of the programs we offer.
CARLETTE WOODCOCK
Office Manager
With a nurturing personality and love for children, "Mema" is an wonderful addition to our office staff. She makes sure we are up and running each day.
